Terms of use
In short: KidWave helps you coordinate school pickup. Responsibility for the physical handover stays, as always, with the school and the parents.
1. The service
KidWave is a web app for coordinating school pickup: parents announce their arrival, the school sees the situation live and keeps a handover record. The service is provided by Sibstil Doors SRL (tax ID RO25411699, Trade Register no. J2009000358326), registered office Str. Oștirii nr. 6, sc. B, et. 7, ap. 73, Sibiu, Romania, represented by Alexandru Rica, contact: alex@kulttur.ro.
2. Your account
Accounts are created by school invitation. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and authorized-person links safe: anyone holding the link can announce a pickup that day. The holder of a parent account must be at least 18 years old and the child's parent or legal guardian.
3. What KidWave is NOT
KidWave is a communication and record-keeping tool, not a surveillance system and not a replacement for the school's procedures. The decision and responsibility for physically handing over a child belong exclusively to school staff. Without the app (dead phone, no internet), the school's usual procedure applies.
4. Fair use
It is forbidden to use the service to mislead the school (e.g. announcing a false arrival), to access other users' data or to disrupt operation. The school may deactivate an account at any time.
5. Availability and liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. The service is provided “as is”; our liability is limited to the subscription value paid by the school for the current year.
6. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes are announced to schools in advance. Romanian law applies and disputes are settled by the competent Romanian courts.
