Everyone taps only on their own screen and sees only what the other side sends.
The parent, on the phone

The school sees “On the way”.
- I'm delayed
The school sees how many minutes and keeps the child in class.
- I've arrived
The school hears a chime and sees “Arrived”.
- Not coming today
Nobody waits for the child and no alert goes off.
- Schedule a pickup
Grandma gets a link with a code, and the school sees who is coming.
The school, on the board
- Ready
The parent gets a notification that they can come.
- Whole class is ready
The same message, for the whole class, in one tap.
- Picked up
The parent gets the confirmation. If someone else comes, the code is checked first.
- Contacted
After the call, the red alert clears from the board.
- Didn't come to school today
The child leaves the list of those expected at dismissal.
